Information:
Research and experience demonstrate that ongoing use and practice of a language is the best way to facilitate the basic skills. As a result, the NDPMA Modern Language Department has implemented a mandatory summer on-line program as part of our Chinese curriculum. This is a wonderful opportunity to maintain and even improve language skills over the summer, and should make the transition back into the Chinese classroom much smoother and easier in the fall. Students will work with grammatical and structural items as well as with reading comprehension and writing skills. Pronunciation may be practiced via the audio files.

- Summer work is divided into 3 segments.
- Students should spend 2-3 weeks on each segment unless otherwise noted
- All work is done "on your honor"- this means that you need to complete all of the work but you do NOT have to email, print, screen shot, etc. the results. You will be assessed on the material the first week of school.
- The first week of school, all students will be tested/assessed or give a presentation in Chinese of their summer course work, no exceptions! All presentation work should be completed using your own words, in Chinese!
